Matboard Colours
A high quality, acid free mat board with a long lasting superior white core.
The Woodland Collection is noted for its smooth cutting and clean edges.
Surface: Colour surface paper is produced to an alkaline or neutral pH specification, utilising high quality cellulose fibres free from ground wood. Superb for washlining.
Core: The pure white core utilises high quality cellulose fibres free from ground wood. The core is alkaline buffered and contains alkaline fillers to enhance its lifespan by minimising the effect of atmospheric pollutants.
Backing: The backing paper is made from pulps which are elemental chlorine free and made of high purity cellulose. The paper is alkaline buffered and contains alkaline fillers to enhance its lifespan by minimising the effect of atmospheric pollutants.
Guarantee: We will endeavour to provide you with the colour you choose, but please be aware that the mount board swatches are used as a guide only and may vary slightly to the actual delivered board.
Different computer monitors will also display the colour swatches slightly differently.
Whilst all efforts will be made to deliver your products undamaged, we will not be liable for any damages which may occur once the product has been dispatched.
The core is buffered to an alkaline pH for longevity. The environment in which you hang your pictures will effect any mount board. Dampness, strong sunlight, hot positions, sea air and open fires all encourage deterioration. Always be aware of these external environmental factors.
Minimum Order: To reduce the risk of damage in transit, we have set a minimum order of 5 sheets of matboard - can be assorted colours.
We have attempted to describe each colour and the surface of the board, but this can only be as we see the colour.
There is also a guide to where each colour can be used, what each mat colour best combines with when cutting double mats, and a suggestion for the best moulding to use for each combination.
FREIGHT: When packed, this product is oversized and we are unable to send it by post. For security and safer handling the goods must be sent via Road Transport. This may cost a little more than the freight charges quoted on your order. We will contact you if there is to be any additional freight cost prior to shipping.
